The NTU dress code was revised in December last year, to allow students to wear sandals and shorts to school.
Pertaining to the topic of dress code, SMU's mypaper publication brought up the issue of the current dress code in NTU: No cleavage, nor exposure of the thighs.
whaaaaaaat? so you mean shorts was only recently allowed? So what were students wearing previously before the relaxation of the NTU dress code? Sarong length skirts and bata school shoes polished darlie shiny white? and what what whattt? no cleavage nor thighs to be exposed? I'm sure we've seen our fair share of shorts and cleavage deep enough to grip a pen in between those......... erm nevermind.
And we have came to a conclusion that the NTU dress code has become highly irrelevant in these times. (Like the repelling of the Penal code 377A in today's society.) which is highly irrelevant In such times of uncertainty, how would you know what to dress?
Faculty tee shirts shirts are okay, if you are lazy. But not with fbts and slippers.
track shoes, take on their literal meaning, for all occasions, provided its on the tracks. anything where yes, a big no no.
girls, please don't compete shorts length with lians. you'd definitely lose. soon all they would be wearing g-string length shorts, with no back pockets attached.
Yes, don't be a geisha, either. (i couldn't help it but repost it again HAHAHA)
And if you are unsure, follow @NTUFJ, so you won't commit fashion suicide in school.
Of course, we take in evidence of fashion fails for the judge for sentencing. email all traces of evidence at to voice.of.NTU@gmail.com and you'll be on a Witness Protection Programme, your identity will be secret with us.
On the issue of school rules, we received an pdf article from an anonymous source, about a fellow student who was displeased with the Student Activity Centre (SAC), as just to serve to SU, WSC, CAC and the Sports Club, and unable to cater to the needs of the student body of being a place for students to study. Interesting? definitely. We'll be running that article this friday, so do check back this friday, 28th january!
